Do we make a tió to hang on the balcony?
This activity is based on the idea of Mr. Pep de Torredembarra “Posem el tió al balcó” seen on TV3’s “Divendres” program.
Material required:
– Cardboard.
– Paint.
Steps to make a Christmas tió:
Step 1
We cut the 5 liter water bottle approximately as we see in this image.
Step 2
The two jars of yogurt will be the legs.
We stick them with the tape and check that they are well placed.
Step 3
We cut a cardboard the size of the hole we made in the bottle and stick it with the tape. It will be the face.
Step 4
We cover the whole bottle with pieces of tape without leaving any holes.
Step 5
We put the caps that we like, that will make nose and eyes.
Step 6
We paint the trunk brown.
Step 7
We can paint the trunk, legs and face in different shades of brown.
Step 8
We end up painting the details of the face.
Step 9
We can make a hat, a blanket, a tail or whatever we like to finish customizing it.
